Processes

Our lithium ores undergo crushing processes adhering to European refining standards, facilitated by our state-of-the-art crushing equipment.

Moreover, our on-site laboratory, certified ISO 9001:2015, empowers us to autonomously verify the entirety of our production, ensuring rigorous quality control throughout the process.

3D Flowchart of a 240 Ton per day Spodumene & Lepidolite Processing Plant

  1. Hopper + Vibration Feeder

    1. Feeds stones to the Jaw Crusher automatically.

  2. Jaw Crusher

    1. Crushes large stones to around 100mm.

  3. Fine Jaw Crusher

    1. Further crushes output from the Jaw Crusher to around 30mm.

  4. Vibration Screen

    1. Sieves materials:

      1. 20mm goes back to the Fine Jaw Crusher.

      2. 0-20mm goes to the Storage Bin.

  5. Storage Bin + Electromagnetic Feeder

    1. Automatically feeds materials to the Ball Mill.

  6. Ball Mill

    1. Grinds 0-20mm ores to 0-1mm.

    2. Combined with the Spiral Classifier to ensure final product size is 0-0.074mm.

  7. Spiral Classifier

    1. Directs overflow to the Slurry Pump for transport to the Hydrocyclone Group.

    2. Separates materials to achieve the desired product size.

  8. Slurry Pump

    1. Transports overflow from the Spiral Classifier to the Hydrocyclone Group.

  9. Hydrocyclone Group

    1. Desliming process:

      1. Underflow flows into Mixing Tanks naturally by height difference.

      2. Overflow contains waste mud/caly.

  10. Mixing Tanks

    1. Chemicals are mixed with the slurry.

  11. Flotation Machines

    1. The slurry mixed with chemicals is processed through roughing, scavenging, and cleaning cells.

  12. Thickener

    1. Concentrates from the flotation system go through precipitation.

  13. High Pressure Pump

    1. Pumps the underflow from the Thickener into the Disc Vacuum Filter.

  14. Disc Vacuum Filter

    1. Filters the materials to obtain dry Li2O concentrates.

  15. End Product

    1. Obtains the final dry Li2O concentrates and further products.
